1st and Goal Slots
Tones of red, white, and blue appear in the 1st and Goal slot, which is marked 2024 to confirm the date of release. This is a modern effort from Arrows Edge, while still retaining its familiar looks. You’ve got a cheerleader and a player to the sides of the game, but what happens in the game itself?
Reels and paylines for 1st and Goal
There is a 5 x 4 format in line for you here, and a message under the reels tells us there are 1,024 ways to win.
So, one bet per spin then?
You’ve got it – and the smallest of these is 20 cents. The biggest bet is way higher at $300, so be careful what you choose before you hit the spin button.
You’ve got three special icons to hunt down
Better still, they’re all labeled. There is a wild cheerleader, and she’ll replace all the standard symbols in the game. The exceptions are the other two labeled ones. The first is the bonus player, and the second is the hold and win symbol which shows someone getting ready to throw the ball.
Exploring the 1st and Goal bonus features
Finding three bonus icons will unlock this feature. You will see nine possibilities for playing the game. This might give you a touchdown, you could get a five-yard gain… or you might fail entirely. You get four chances to go for a touchdown, which is what you’re aiming for.
Three hold and win symbols reveal this feature, in which all football helmets become sticky. You need to find at least one more during your first set of three respins. Whenever you do get one more, the respins return to three remaining. Better yet, if you get a hold and win symbol landing, this takes in all the helmets and gives you three respins again. You’ll find out your total winnings once you finish your respins.
There are trophies to find too, and three of those collected by you will be awarded three more spins before the feature ends.
